The all new Suzuki 9.9 hp EFI outboard motor model DF9.9BTL5 comes standard with 20 inch long shaft, electric start, power tilt and remote throttle and shift control. The 9.9 HP Suzuki outboard motor is an excellent choice of power for medium to larger sized jon boats and skiffs requiring a long shaft as well as auxiliary power for sailboats and trolling/kicker applications. At 120 lbs, this model features push-button electric start with a built-in 12V charging system. In addition, all portable Suzuki models 20 hp and below that feature electric start also retain the thru-cowl manual start pull cord. We have studied the actions of the other major outboard manufacturers and now believe that Model Year Elimination will offer a host of benefits to our Customers, Dealers and Boat Builders. Suzuki Marine can now introduce new outboard models to the market during the boating season, instead of waiting until the model year change. Consumers will be able to purchase these models sooner than in the past. Dealers and Boat Builders will carry a better supply of outboards because they will not have to reduce inventory in advance of a Model Year Change.
