The Suzuki 9.9 HP outboard engine is lightweight, compact and fuel efficient. This 2-cylinder 4-stroke is remarkably smooth and quiet. The Suzuki 9.9hp outboard is an excellent choice for long shaft jon boats and skiffs, as well auxiliary power for sailboats and “kickers” for larger fishing boats. Suzuki designed the 123 lb. 9.9hp with user-friendly features such as the multi-function tiller handle which controls steering, throttle, throttle tension, and power tilt. Additionally, a one-touch steering tension control lever located on the front of the engine allows the user to quickly adjust steering friction. WHAT DOES MODEL YEAR ELIMINATION MEAN AND HOW DOES IT AFFECT MY SUZUKI OUTBOARD?
We have studied the actions of the other major outboard manufacturers and now believe that Model Year Elimination will offer a host of benefits to our Customers, Dealers and Boat Builders. Suzuki Marine can now introduce new outboard models to the market during the boating season, instead of waiting until the model year change. Consumers will be able to purchase these models sooner than in the past. Dealers and Boat Builders will carry a better supply of outboards because they will not have to reduce inventory in advance of a Model Year Change.
